Paul Murnane
“Executive Coaching provides an incredibly valuable support to
senior executives in highly challenging roles in volatile and
growing markets; FGCP coaching supports their need to meet and
balance shareholder’s current needs and the organisations short,
medium and long term goals.”
Paul Murnane’s executive career is a perfect fit for his Sponsor
Support role with FGCP. He has over 35 years diversified
experience in financial services, consulting and general
management in Australia and overseas which has provided him with
a unique perspective of the challenges facing FGCP’s sponsoring
organisations.
Paul has over 25 years investment banking experience in
Australia and overseas, including Citibank and Goldman Sachs
JBWere, where he specialised in corporate finance, project and
structured finance, especially in the financial services, energy
and resources sectors. This complements Paul’s 15 years as a
Partner and Managing Director of a leading global executive
search partnership where he advised and recruited extensively at
the Chairman, non-executive director, chief executive and senior
management levels in Australia, New Zealand and Asia.
This experience has provided him with a deep understanding of
the qualities, experience and knowledge needed by FGCP’s clients
in their executive roles, and an ability to connect this to both
their organisation’s objectives and their individual career
challenges.
This ensures that Paul can identify which of the FGCP coaches
will best be able to meet both the organisation’s needs and the
needs of executives and also provide support to both the
coaching sponsors as well as to the executives being coached.
Paul has a
BEc and an MBA. He is Chairman of an independent investment
bank, a Director of a listed biopharmaceutical company, a
Director (and past Chairman) of Multiple Sclerosis NSW/Victoria
and MS Australia, and Deputy President of the Library Council of
NSW. He also serves on the Boards and committees of
organisations involved in philanthropy, public policy, the arts
and corporate governance.
Paul and his wife Annie have two delightful daughters and he has
avid interests in rugby, yachting, theatre, history, travel and
fine wines. |
